Our coaching positions for 2017 are filled, however, if you are interested in coaching we encourage you to contact our Development Coordinator to discuss.

PLEASE CONTACT OUR DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR INGRID BRYANT development@beaumarisnetballclub.com.au if you think you can give us a hand.

As a volunteer Community Sporting Group registration fees do not cover sourcing coaches and we rely heavily on parental community to step into these roles and we thank those parents who have volunteered to coach some of our teams this season.

Coaches are volunteers and can be parents, friends or a family member with some knowledge of netball. Or just someone with a love of netball who would like to help these teams play this season.

Beaumaris Netball Club Netball Club offers the opportunity to Coach in a supported environment, where coaches are respected and above all valued.  Our Club offers full support for anyone who volunteers to coach including assistance at training sessions, guidance throughout the season and the opportunity to attend a Foundation Coach Course funded by Beaumaris.   Once they have mastered the basics, we actively encourage our coaches to further develop their skills by moving through the Coaching Accreditation Pathway.

Thankyou!!

Here are some of the things our coaches had to say:

As a new coach, and being a male, I wasn’t too sure how coaching a netball team would go – without any netball experience.  But it has been a great learning curve for me – learning a new sport, developing my own personal skills and dealing with young children.  It is great to see the girls learning skills and using them in games.
Definitely worth it! – Mat Campbell 2014 Co-Coach of the 9 & Under Dolphins

I started coaching my daughter when she was in NetSetGo 8’s, I coached her for a few years, had a few years helping out as a manager and then put up my hand to coach a younger team because the club was short one year.  That was three years ago now and I’ve coached this group from U10’s to U12’s.  Even though I don’t have a child in the team I love it!  To see the development of the girls and to share their wins and losses is awesome.  I keep saying I will have a break (next year) but every year I come back because the girls, the parents and the supportive committee are wonderful.  I’m back again in 2016, you should join us!! – Lauren Campbell 2015 Coach of the 11 & U Dynamites.
